About Chain Curtain Company
Aluminium chain curtains for doorways, and swatters for the flies that still get in. Delivered across Australia.
Why a chain curtain
Most doorway screens are built to be closed. A chain curtain is built to be walked through. It hangs from a header strip, parts as you pass and falls straight back, so a back door, a shop door or a kitchen door can stay open all day without a fly screen slamming or a mesh tearing.
Ours is anodised aluminium, oxidation treated so it resists rust and corrosion, in one stock size of 90cm by 210cm and two finishes, black and silver. The header strip fixes with two screws and comes down the same way, which matters if you rent or only want it up for summer.
Being straight about what it is
A chain curtain is a deterrent, not a seal. It keeps most flies out of a doorway that stays open, and it does that while letting the breeze and the light through, which is the whole point. It will not make a room insect proof the way a closed mesh screen does, and we would rather say so here than after you have ordered.
For the ones that still get in, we sell a leather swat, a five pack of plastic swatters, an electric racket and a plug-in zapper lamp. Each product page says exactly what is in the box.
How we work
We are an online shop with no showroom, which is how the prices stay where they are. You order on this site, pay by card through Stripe or by PayPal, and we ship across Australia. Delivery is free on orders of $60 or more and a flat $25 under that, arriving 5-7 days, after a 24-48 hour order handling and processing time.
Not sure whether the curtain suits your doorway? Email us before you order at theteam@customersupport.care and a real person will answer, usually within one business day.
We run country stores in several markets selling the same range. If you are outside Australia, start at our company hub, chaincurtain.company.
